A clump-forming perennial featuring basal mounds of maple or ivy-like, long-petioled leaves (3-5" across) which are an attractive deep purple above and beet-red beneath. Tiny, pinkish-white bell-shaped flowers in open, airy panicles are born on slender, wiry, dark red stems extending well above the leaves. Blooms June-July and grows 1 to 2-feet tall with a spread of 1 to 1.5-feet.
